FULL TIME TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE BASED IN PIERRE OR IN TERRITORY INCLUDING COUNTIES OF HYDE, HAND, BUFFALO, BRULE, LYMAN, TRIPP AND GREGORY IN SOUTH DAKOTA.
Radio/Digital Media Sales is a fast moving and ever changing business that relies on the ability of its sales staff to generate income through advertising sales and sponsorship.
Duties Include: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Work closely with clients to implement strategies to grow their revenue along with the revenue of the company through on air, online and digital means.
- Manage existing customer relationships.
- Develop new leads
- Cold call potential clients
- Create and present effective marketing proposals.
- Enter client information into traffic/billing software so computer knowledge is important
- Schedule commercials in software
- Enter client billing into software
This full time position will require close attention to detail and excellent organization and administrative skills. Applicant must be self driven with business skills, confidence and determination. Excellent communication skills a must. Must work well under pressure, be able to react quickly and meet deadlines. Strong computer skills needed including word processing and data handling. Creativity helps and must be able to handle rejection. Knowledge of the radio industry helpful but training is available. Valid drivers license needed along with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Salary is base plus commission. Expected earning potential over $80,000 if dedicated and motivated. Company laptop is provided. Group health and dental available. Paid time off and holidays, travel reimbursement and incentives.
