SD Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame

Criteria: A South Dakota Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame inductee is chosen based on his/her distinguished professional career in South Dakota Broadcasting.

  • The inductee has exemplified integrity, innovation, achievement, and leadership to the broadcast industry, has contributed back to the industry, and has been a positive influence on individuals within the profession and their community. The nominee may hold or have held any position within the broadcast industry.
  • The inductee must have reached age 50 by the date of the annual meeting.
  • The inductee must be nominated by a letter written to the SDBA Board of Directors listing the reasons for the nominee’s consideration, a biography, and one additional reference letter.
  • Nominees remain eligible for selection for three years, before a new nomination is required.

The Awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is held in conjunction with the Annual SDBA Leadership Conference.

Nominations can be completed online or by filling out and returning the PDF nomination form to the SDBA Office.
